Readings include ancient Greek Philosdophy (Plato s Phaedrus, Phaedi, and Republic and Aristotle s On the Soul,) modern European philosophy (Descartes Meditations and Mediations and Spinoza s Ethics), and contemporary postmodern and feminist philosophy (Foucault s The History of Sexuality and Irigaray s Speculum of the Other Women). |
